  • Served as a U.S. Marine for nine years in multiple disciplines of intelligence. His work led to the successful capture of multiple high-level terrorists in Iraq. He has been awarded multiple awards for his meritorious service during combat. 
  • Sustained multiple traumatic brain injuries while serving three combat tours in Iraq, causing Ataxia. Dennis suffered a stroke in 2020 which reduced mobility to his left side 
  • Awarded the Defense Meritorious Service Medal by US Special Operations Command for intelligence operations in combat in 2010, the third highest meritorious medal in the US Military 
  • Only male trike rider in the U.S. Para-Cycling Team 
  • Stay-at-home dad for his children Kenadie and Soren with wife Krista 
  • Hobbies include riding bikes with his family, rock climbing, skiing, kayaking, and cooking
