- Diagnosed with spindle cell sarcoma in 2008, and later diagnosed with drop foot
- Mother of twin boys Christian and Ryder
- Ran cross-country and track on scholarship at California State University, Northridge
- Coaches over 30 athletes for off-road and road triathlons
- Enjoys riding dirt jumps and mountain biking with her sons
